CAST & PRODUCTION TEAM BIOS
Aria Clapp is a young performer from Mount Morris with a passion for musical theater. She previously appeared in the Geneseo Community Players' production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical and most recently portrayed Young Jenn in the feature film Changing Keys. Aria is overjoyed to be part of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and is grateful for the opportunity to perform alongside such an incredibly talented cast and crew.
Ashley Wright is very excited to be a part of the GCP and community theatre for the first time! She is a licensed esthetician and nail technician in NYS, but her love for performing was calling her back to the stage. Ashley is a classical opera singer who has also been in music and theatre performance for over a decade, performing most recently in Spring Awakening and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. She is beyond grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank everyone involved with the show and all those in attendance! Enjoy the show!
Avalyn Hall is excited to make her debut with the Geneseo Community Players! Avalyn has participated in theater throughout high school, participating in shows like Chicago (Teen Edition), Shrek the Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Anything Goes, and The Little Mermaid. Avalyn thanks her Dad for doing this production with her and always inspiring her to reach for her goals! She’s so excited for her first show with GCP to be Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
Charlie Merrick is making his debut with the Geneseo Community Players. Charlie enjoys all things music, including violin and drums, and has been featured in Geneseo's Got Talent as a singer/violinist for the past three years. When not on stage, you can find Charlie playing sports in the ice rink or on the baseball diamond. Charlie would like to thank his elementary music teacher, Miss Downs, for always believing in him and fostering his love for singing.
Cheyenne Stansfield is excited for her second show with the Geneseo Community Players! Cheyenne’s recent theatre experiences include Medusa/Featured Dancer in The Lightning Thief (GCP), and Featured Dancer in Seussical (Pittsford Musicals), Oklahoma! (Webster Theatre Guild), and Shrek the Musical (Roberts Community Theatre). When not performing, Cheyenne attempts to be a real adult. Cheyenne would like to give a special thanks to Meg for her support and positivity. Grow the roses of success!
Claire Morgan is from Geneseo and is starting her sophomore year at Geneseo High School. She has been involved in community theater since she was eleven years old, and this is her second production with GCP! When she is not busy with school or drama club, she enjoys playing the piano, singing, and listening to music. Recent credits include Fairy May in The Curious Savage, Silena in The Lightning Thief, and Gingy in Shrek. Claire would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for all of their support and encouragement, and she is so excited to be part of this talented cast!
David DiFranco
David Sick is a recent high school graduate from Dansville and plans on attending SUNY Fredonia to study Musical Theatre. He has been in many shows with Dansville High School, most recently Chicago: Teen Edition as Billy Flynn, and this is his second show with GCP. He would like to thank his castmates for making this a fun experience, but especially Avalyn for encouraging him to do this. He would also like to thank his family and Mrs. Lindsay Buckel for helping him get involved in GCP.
Deacon Smith is excited to return for his second production with the Geneseo Community Players. He previously appeared with GCP as Mr. D in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Some of Deacon’s favorite roles he’s played in the past include Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie, Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, Fred in A Christmas Carol, and Dupree in Cry-Baby. Deacon is an active performer in community theater throughout the region and is grateful for the opportunity to share the stage with this talented cast.
Felicity Houston Thomas is a member of the GCP Board, and is proud to be a third-generation Geneseo Community Player. Felicity is also a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with folk, blues, Americana, and pop influences. Hayden Schledorn is glad to be part of this production! She is going into her freshman year at Dansville and has been part of productions such as Chicago (Teen Edition), Shrek, and others. When she is not performing or at rehearsal, she is at dance or hanging out with her friends.
Jennifer Overbeck (Lighting Designer) – Jena is the owner of Illuminazione Design and Productions. She has worked as a Lighting Designer, Stage Manager, and Technical Director in the Rochester area for 31 years. Her favorite designs include Jekyll & Hyde (Webster Theatre Guild), bare: A Pop Opera (Fairport Summer Performing Arts), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Geneseo Community Players), and Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Blackfriars Theatre). Her favorite performance credits include Jekyll & Hyde (Webster Theatre Guild), Godspell (Everyone’s Theatre Company), Some Enchanted Evening (Rochester Community Players), and The Sound of Music (Webster Theatre Guild). She was most recently seen onstage in the Geneseo Community Players’ Cole Porter Revue. Jena works for the Rochester City School District as a Speech Pathologist. She earned her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth University. Jena sends love to all of her theatre angels who left us far too soon.
Kaedin Andrews is a sixteen-year-old high school senior who loves to perform. When she's not on stage, she can be found hanging out with her friends, reading, and walking her dog, Pumpkin. She is very excited to be a part of this cast and can't wait to share the show with the community.
Kurt Fletcher – When not performing on the stage, Kurt enjoys teaching physics at SUNY Geneseo, playing the piano accordion with generous local musicians, serving the community with Geneseo Rotary, worshiping at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and spending time with his talented wife, Leah. Kurt and Leah have two grown boys, Ethan and Kyle. Past community theater roles include Durdles in GCP's The Mystery of Edwin Drood, the Major General in GCP's The Pirates of Penzance, Thénardier in the Livonia Community Players' Les Misérables, King Charles in Pippin at GCP, and Max Bialystock in The Producers at LCP. Kurt and Leah earned their doctorates at UNC-Chapel Hill and their bachelor’s degrees at RIT.
Lucy Merrick is making her debut with the Geneseo Community Players, but is no stranger to the stage. Over the years, Lucy has been active in cheerleading and dance. She is bringing those skills to the stage where she can highlight her love of music, dance, and gymnastics. Lucy is looking forward to sharing the stage with all of the cast members and new friends she has made during this production.
Marissa A. Weaver is so excited to be in this amazing production! She is a Senior Musical Theatre Major and Film Studies Minor at SUNY Geneseo. She was most recently seen as Agnes in The Hello Girls (SUNY Geneseo) and Janis Joplin/Hera/Camper & Dead Ensemble in The Lightning Thief (Geneseo Community Players). She was recently an Assistant Stage Manager for Godspell and Chicago at SUNY Geneseo! She would like to thank her Mom and Dad, Nana and Papa, and Aunt Nanci for their constant support! Megan Privitera – In what feels like the blink of an eye, Meg is entering her 6th production with the Geneseo Community Players! Hailing from Le Roy, NY, Meg began her journey with the organization through GCP's 2019 production of Legally Blonde. Since then, she has made appearances as stage crew in other GCP productions (2024, The Mystery of Edwin Drood; 2026, Almost, Maine), and was most recently cast in the 2025 Cole Porter Revue with several members of the current production team. This is Meg's second time stage managing with GCP (2025, The Lightning Thief) and she couldn't be more thankful for the time and effort put in by this production team and cast. This fall, Meg will move to Trumansburg, NY, to pursue her master's in Vocal Performance at Ithaca College. She is so grateful for the connections and memories provided by GCP, and looks forward to her next chapter!

Nora Tobias Savage is very excited to make her Geneseo Community Players debut, especially in a musical! It has been such a wonderful process to step into a musical again after such a long time. Nora is a Nazareth University Theatre Arts graduate, and was recently seen in an original piece at the MUCC, Leo Tolstoy Asks. You can also catch her in the Rochester Fringe Festival this upcoming September as Uno in Life and Death in Cowboy Country. Thank you to everyone at GCP for being so warm and welcoming! Paige Moscicki is beyond excited to welcome you all to her first musical with GCP! Although you may recognize her from the recent Winter production of Almost, Maine where she starred as Marvalyn, this is her first time in a musical with the group, and she’s sure you’ll be just as starstruck by the show and its amazing cast and crew as she was. She also wants to send her thanks to her beautiful director and stage manager for their “Teamwork” and patience with her busy schedule, and she is incredibly grateful to have been a part of the whole production process. Rebecca Brink
Rachel Merrick is making her debut with the Geneseo Community Players and has not been on stage since being featured in high school drama club productions. She is a lifelong Livingston County resident and mom to co-stars Charlie and Lucy. When not on stage, you can find Rachel working as a Public Health Specialist for the Livingston County Department of Health. Rachel is excited to be in this production alongside her children and will cherish all of the memories made this summer.
Robbie Pogozelski is a Junior at GCS who loves anything related to plays and music. If there's an invitation to join a musical group, you'll most likely find him in it. He loves traveling, listening to music, and watching Dude Perfect. Robbie wants to thank his dad and mom for encouraging him to take up theatre and Mrs. Crabb for encouraging him to sing.
Sara DiFranco loves theatre and has always been very interested in the community. This is her second musical, and she is so very excited for it! She’s from the Geneseo area and is familiar with most things. Sara has always loved singing, dancing, and acting—doing all three together is like a dream come true. Sara thanks her Dad, Mom, best friend, and cousin; she’s forever thankful to them all.
Sean Miron is a student at SUNY ESF. As this is Sean's first show with GCP, he is excited for this production and many more. When not on stage, you can find Sean performing with the Syracuse University Marching Band. Sean would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him through the arts.
Tess Uline is thrilled to make their debut with the Geneseo Community Players! When not at rehearsal, Tess can usually be found sequestered in a dark corner with their cat, Kiwi, and a notebook to work on their play. Their most recent theater endeavors include Lady Macbeth in Batavia Players' Murder at the Library and serving as a dramaturg on Will Kempe's Players' Much Ado About Nothing. Tess would like to thank Sophie for always believing in them and Garrett for their constant support. Enjoy the show!! <3
Todd Hall – This is Todd’s 4th performance with GCP. He is excited to be back this summer and perform side by side for the first time with his daughter. Todd’s favorite quote: “Your world is only as small as your dreams, SO DREAM BIG!”
VC Hawkins – As a rising junior at Geneseo High School, VC is excited for her second year with GCP! When she isn’t busy with school, she enjoys playing her multiple instruments and spending time with her friends and family. After portraying many different roles—such as Ensemble in Once Upon a Mattress, Grandma Addams in The Addams Family, Lisa in Mamma Mia!, Pegeen in The Orphan Train, the Oracle in The Lightning Thief, Race in Newsies, and Florence Williams in The Curious Savage—she looks forward to bringing her roles in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to life.
