Want to Help? Directors Wanted Geneseo Community Players is currently seeking directors who are interested in submitting proposals to stage upcoming productions. We are interested in everything from dinner theatre and cabaret to dramatic plays and musicals. Larger scale productions are usually staged in the Alice Austin Theatre, Brodie Fine Arts building on the SUNY Geneseo campus. GCP produces a musical each summer in late July. Dinner theatre and smaller productions could be held in local restaurants, event centers or churches. We would like to offer a variety of smaller venues (musical reviews, murder mysteries, etc), during the non-summer months. Click HERE to open the application. It takes many people behind the scenes to create a successful production. We need help with a variety of tasks- from set painting and refreshments to patron mailings and advertising .
